Business Guidelines

Last updated: June 2026

These guidelines are for companies listed on MyTradingReviews — brokers, prop firms, platforms, and academies. They explain how to claim and manage your profile, respond to reviews, and invite customers fairly. They sit alongside our Review Guidelines and Fake Review Policy.

1. Claiming Your Profile

You can claim your company’s profile to respond to reviews and access analytics. Claims are verified by your work email domain or reviewed by our team. Only authorised representatives of the company may claim a profile, and you must provide accurate information.

2. Responding to Reviews

  • Be professional and respectful, even with critical reviews — your replies are public.
  • Do not post personal data about a reviewer or details of their account in a public response.
  • Use responses to address the issue, offer help, or provide context — not to argue or pressure the reviewer.
  • Do not threaten reviewers or demand that a review be removed as a condition of support or service.

3. Inviting Customers to Review

You may invite genuine customers to share their honest experience. To keep reviews fair:

  • Do invite customers neutrally, regardless of whether you expect a positive or negative review.
  • Don’t offer money, discounts, gifts, or other incentives in exchange for a review or for a positive rating.
  • Don’t selectively invite only satisfied customers (“cherry-picking”) or filter people through a satisfaction check before letting them review (“review gating”).
  • Don’t write reviews about your own company, ask staff or affiliates to, or post about competitors.

4. Reporting a Review

If you believe a review breaks our guidelines — for example it is fake, defamatory, contains personal data, or is not about a genuine experience — report it using the “Report” option or email trust@mytradingreviews.com. We assess reports against our policies. We do not remove reviews simply for being negative.

5. Consequences of Misuse

Breaking these guidelines — particularly soliciting fake or incentivised reviews — can lead to affected reviews being removed, a warning notice being shown on your profile, loss of access to business features, and in serious cases removal from the platform.
