Review Guidelines
Last updated: June 2026
MyTradingReviews is an independent platform where traders share their real experiences with brokers, prop firms, trading platforms, and academies. These guidelines explain how reviews are collected, verified, and moderated so the community stays trustworthy. By posting a review you agree to follow them.
1. Who Can Write a Review
- You must have had a genuine, first-hand experience with the company you are reviewing.
- You must confirm your email address. Each person may post one review per company.
- Reviews must reflect your own honest opinion and experience.
2. What Makes a Good Review
- Be specific — mention what happened: onboarding, payouts, spreads, support, rules, or course quality.
- Be fair and constructive, whether your experience was positive or negative.
- Keep it relevant to the company and to other traders making a decision.
3. The “Verified” Badge
A review may be marked Verified when the reviewer has provided evidence of a genuine relationship with the company (for example proof of an account, payout, or purchase). A verified badge speaks to authenticity of the experience — it is not an endorsement of the opinion expressed, and unverified reviews are still genuine submissions from confirmed users.
4. What Is Not Allowed
- Fake, incentivised, or paid-for reviews, and reviews written by or on behalf of the company about itself or a competitor.
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, or discriminatory language.
- Personal data (yours or anyone else’s), account numbers, or private correspondence.
- Spam, advertising, referral or affiliate links, and off-topic content.
- Unlawful content or anything that infringes someone else’s rights.
5. Moderation
Submitted reviews enter a moderation queue before they are published. We use a combination of automated checks and human review to screen for the rules above. We may decline, remove, or request changes to content that breaches these guidelines, and we may ask for evidence to support claims. We do not edit the substance of a review to change its meaning.
6. Reporting a Review
Anyone can flag a review they believe breaks these guidelines using the “Report” option on the review. Reports are sent to our moderation team and assessed against this policy. Companies can also respond publicly to reviews about them.
7. Our Independence
Reviews are user-generated and cannot be bought, removed, or reordered in exchange for payment. We may earn affiliate commissions from some companies listed on the Site (see our Disclaimer), but commercial relationships never influence individual user ratings or which reviews are published.
